CA Letterboxing Update 6/22/01

Hi
All,
It was a
Letterboxing bonanza! Teri and I went to Bolsa Chica Friday to find the
Shore Bird Letterbox, leave behind our newly made Pelican Letterbox and were
stoked to find our first Hitch Hiker - Home is Where the Heart is And Heart is
on the Road.
We went in the the
late afternoon so the birds were quite active and entertaining while we were on
the trail. Thanks to Gwen and Don for introducing us to the Bolsa Chica
Reserve (both Teri and I have driven up and down Pacific Coast Highway a zillion
times but haven't ever stopped to check out the Wetlands. The Shore Bird
letterbox is in very good shape.
Clues for the new
Bolsa Chica letterbox, Pelican Letterbox, will be coming soon on a web page that
we are developing and will be providing the address to the Webmasters at that
time.
